Center on Transistion Innovations

Spotlight Virginia Nominations

The Center on Transition Innovations (CTI) aims to shine a spotlight on those students, teachers, administrators and parents who demonstrate evidence-based practices and initiatives in transition for young adults with disabilities. CTI is proud to support Spotlight Virginia, which highlights these initiatives and practices in transition, in order to broaden public visibility and support. CTI believes Spotlight Virginia will inspire others in their transition practices.

Nominations chosen to be a part of Spotlight Virginia will be showcased on the Center on Transition Innovations website and Facebook page. Additionally, recipients will receive a certificate and letter of commendation signed by John Eisenberg, Assistant Superintendent, Virginia Department of Education as thanks for their contributions to the field of secondary transition.

Nominations are now being accepted and will be reviewed by a selection committee comprised of experts in the field of secondary transition. Nominees will be notified in a timely manner of the nomination committee’s decision regarding selection.
